Personally I kill bugs. Can't stand em. Commit genocide on any wasp nest I find, and ALWAYS let the mousquito hawk in for the night. Unfortunately he doesn't pull his fair share, so I may be looking for a new way to waste those little bastards.

When I was about 10 I was cleaning up in our cabin and one of the little fuckers jumped on my neck. Being terrified of spiders at that age I immidiately swatted him down, and killed him.

My dad saw the little fucker and identified him as a hobo spider. Could have put me in the hospital.

Outside, we battle mosquitos, carpenter bees, horse flies, anything that stings and makes a nest!

I did prevent a spider from a meal of dragon fly! I pulled the dragon fly out of the web just as the spider was entering the scene. After pulling web off him, I left him on the porch. He promptly flew up towards my face..hovered a few seconds as if thanking me and then flew away.

5. Bug saver for the most part because of balance...

If I exterminate a larger population of one insect, another class of annoying pests will dominate my home. Who knows I might even be saving my home from termites by letting many of these insects live.

6. We've got

about a 100 geckos living in/around our house. Since they showed up about 7 years ago, no roaches, no carpenter ants, no little piss ants, and even no more fire ants. Every now and then I find the empty egg shells where babies have hatched out. We don't spray any poison and let the little(some big and fat) lizards eat the bugs.

doubt there are any geckos here in Pittsburgh. I much prefer natural bug control ( like birds) to any chemicals. And I try not to kill spiders, unless I can't move them outside.

10. I commit drive-bys on bees' nests.

I was mowing the lawn one time, when I realized that there was a huge bees' nest in a bush along my path. So I drove the mower back into the garage, grabbed myself some matches and a can of WD40. Little fuckers didn't stand a chance!!

12. Depends. Centipedes have to go, along with wasps and mosquitoes.

And I swat houseflies.

I don't generally kill spiders, because it's good to have them around to eat the OTHER little creeps I DON'T want around.

Dragonflies, butterflies, ladybugs, grasshoppers, caterpillars - I leave them alone.

A few bug running around the house doesn't bother me. I kill wasps, questionable spiders, and flies but beyond that leave them alone unless they are annoying me. Some spiders I'll actually move into the house or garage.

But spiders, moths, beetles, etc., get saved. That is, if the cats don't get to them first.
