Were they merely non-voilently protesting, or were they actually physically blocking entrance to the station?
The charge of obstructing an officer, if true, is pretty bad form for the protestors; if false, it's a bullshit charge.
I'd love to be on the side of the protestors, and more than likely they didn't do anything stupid, but, let's face it, every now and again protestors DO do something stupid.
If these charges are totally trumped up, and if the charges are carried through, then the federal government is getting its first wonderful step toward fascism.
And to think, all the assholes running the country into fascism and KBG-style fear-based society, are the very people who kept telling us how awful Russia and the KGB were.
