A Democratic cocktail
I was browsing round the Plymouth Gin web-site and discovered that among the cocktail recipes was one created for President Clinton:

Arkansas Breeze
35ml Plymouth Gin
15ml Plymouth Sloe Gin
15ml Cranberry juice
25ml Grapefruit juice
Dash of sugar syrup
Glass: martini
Shake all ingredients with ice in a shaker and strain into glass.

The story: invented by Wayne Collins for Bill Clinton at the Hay on Wye book festival in 2001.

Sounds jolly yummy to me.

1. Arkansas Breeze?
Then it should be served hot & humid

Being from Arkansas, I figured I'd have heard of it.

2. It only dates from 2001
Which might explain it. When I get some sloe gin in (shock horror, I'm out of it), I'll mix one in your honour.

Now it just needs to be seen what cocktail would be appropriate for king george....
