I saw something a little strange yesterday |
|
As I was going home from work last night, I got to the top of my street where a cemetery is. Coming out of the cemetery was an ambulance with lights flashing and sirens wailing. I can only wonder what happened. It is an older cemetery, I don't know if there are many burials there these days.

Or someone came back to life and didn't know the way to the hospital.

I'm sure if I knew what happened it would make sense, but my imagine starts to get carried away with me sometimes and I thought it was a little surreal.
Your "irony" thread reminded me of it.

14. Well I am over there talking to myself in that thread. |
|
No one wants to respond, but that one would have been a good one.
Maybe the maintenance man or cemetery caretaker got hurt!

I was going to post it in your thread, but I wasn't sure. So I typed up this one.

4. There's an old tradition in my area... |
|
of teenagers going to cemeteries to get good and drunk. Maybe one of them tripped on a tombstone.

How did they know they were about to sacrifice a trained attack gerbil?
The next thing you know there's hair extentions and black press on finger nails everywhere.

7. sometimes bums like to sleep in cemeteries |

they're generally pretty quiet except for Memorial Day and the occasional AMBULANCE picking up a dead guy.

11. Maybe someone collapsed at a funeral? |
|
Besides the partying teenagers, and drunk indigents, maybe someone was overcome at a loved one's funeral.

I don't think they bury anyone there any longer. I didn't see a crowd of people in there either.
