the best concept for a cover band ever!
http://www.amishoutlaws.com/ they were playing at this benefit concert I went to on Sunday but I didn't get to see them play we left too early. But somehow I ended up on their photo gallery, I don't really remember the picture being taken.

And yes they are real Amish...I asked them

1. I had some friends that played in a band like this
They called themselves "The Hostile Amish". They weren't Amish, but they dressed like them. They also had people on stage with them churning butter throughout the show.
I worked with them in the studio and they were the funniest group of people I have ever met. My ribs would be hurting by the end of the session. They were pretty good. I think they still play out.

2. Dressing like the Amish is a great gimmick
From everything I've heard these guys are pretty good, plus it's hard to forget the image of Amish guys dancing around

6. Then there's Dred Zeppelin
They did Zeppelin covers with a raggae twist.

and their lead singer was an Elvis impersonator.
