And next week, if all goes well and we get our passports and Libyan visas back shortly, my husband and I will embark on a big trip into the eastern part of the Mediterranean for about 3 weeks.

17. Steve, it wasn't until I decided that I didn't need a man to make me happy

that WHAM POW KABLAAM I met my husband (I told him for six months that I didn't need him in order to be happy and he kept agreeing with me and asking me to marry him). Yes, he wore me down and I relented.

Nine years later I still believe that it was the time I took to be happy with myself that brought me to meet someone who didn't need to make me happy.
