Is anyone else in nerd nirvana right now? (re: summer movies)

We've been given the first great Star Wars film since "Empire."

We've been given what may very well be the best comic-book adaptation--"Batman Begins" (sorry, "American Splendor").

We're on the cusp of a Spielberg extravaganza.

We're about a month away from a new Harry Potter book.




And I thought I had to get a life this summer!

1. Personally, I don't like the 1990's post-modern "Dark" Batman.

I'd much rather see a Neal Adams or Alex Ross style mythic treatment than the goth vigilante.

Never liked Frank Miller turning him into a cynical, torturing, killer.

For the record, I HATE the bulky, black armor costume- I'd rather see gray chain mail long johns, blue undies & a dark blue cape!!!

Having said that- I'm going to see it anyway!!! i think they casted the young Bruce Wayne well.

2. I'm in nerd nirvana, I guess...

given the fact that I've seen the Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith more than 4 times so far. Damn, I love that movie.... plus with all that other stuff coming up later this summer....this summer will be one of my better summers.:woohoo:
