Damn, sometimes I think my sense of humor is sustaining ME, but killing everyone else around me!!!
It is, btw, NEVER my intention to harm; I do what I do cuz there's lots and lots of people who won't wake up and stop dreaming...
Which is really the only reason why we're ALL in this living nightmare today!
I see myself as taking a less-traveled path, in order to shock some of the dummies awake...
I HOPE you were kiddin'... sometimes, though, I get the feeling I'm really not very welcome on these boards...
Oh well... again, sorry... I really feel kinda bad here now...

But I'm already past that point; my skin's so thick I'm starting to grow a prehensile trunk to go along with it...
Still, I AM only human, y'know?
Actually, though I'm not sure you'd be interested to know this, I'm a person in REAL crisis at the moment, though I won't bore you with the details... and I've been posting like a MANIAC on these boards these last four months, trying to get my site working for me a bit (I've been unemployed for YEARS now, man); and there's really NOTHING like my stuff around (Swamprat does a similar thing; and his work is featured prominently on my site, but he's about it...)
And I'm a 45-year-old writer, artist and humorist whose work continues to go wholly ignored by just about everyone, and certainly anyone who matters, anyone who might be in a position to publish or promote me...
And ya know, despite all that, I have a lotta confidence about the work itself; I'm pretty damn good at what I do... but for so many people, it's just not their cup o' tea; TOO MUCH reality, perhaps...
Which sucks. I'm a BETTER writer than artist... but no one reads me, so no one knows...
Oh well... I am what I am, and you DID say 'no harm'...
Just a bad moment, that's all...
I'd better get back to growing my skin some more now...

Actually, I was really impressed with your animation.

I'm sorry that you don't feel welcome, but you entertained me! I think many of us here feel as though everyone else knows everyone. Of course, it's not true but it feels that way sometimes. (Some people have been here for years, so they probably really DO know everyone.)

I'll be looking for more of the same, dxstone. Keep up the good fight of waking people from the dream. (Actually, maybe we really don't want to know what reality really is because it's probably as bad as some of our worst nightmares!)
