Does anyone know offhand if big test prep books are recyclable? |
|
You know those big SAT, LSAT test prep books with the cheap covers and almost newsprint pages. Does anyone know if I can put those into a phone book recycling bin, or just a general paper recycling bin?

1. I'm sure they are recyclable... |
|
Maybe look for a less specific or generic paper bin or try to pass it off as a phone book left behind by visiting friends to your local phone book recycling bin monitor...

2. Take it from a libarary acquisitions person; we see far too many returned |

that are completely marked up and therefore useless.
They are eminently recyclable. Just toss them in with your normal recycles; you don't even need to remove the cover.

3. Depends on where you live... |

In my city, any "bound" books are not recyclable. You could always donate it to a high school/college guidance office.
