I just bought a new moped!!!! Pics!
My moped:

Me riding said moped:

Ok so it costs 10 dollars a YEAR to license it, 40 dollars a YEAR to insure in, it gets 120 MPG, and it costs 4 dollars a day to park it in my building (15 dollars a day for cars). WTF? Why didn't I do this earlier???? Minnesota winters suck though so gotta keep hold of the POS Saturn. Very pleased, so fun.

1. Wow...
Not that I've seen a lot of mopeds in my life, but that one looks pretty nice. I want one!

9. Nice bike for 1500.
I bought my son a Yamaha 80 and paid that much for it. You got a better deal.

10. kind of
only 49 cc, had to pay $120 sales tax today at the DMV, so it really is a bit more. Still, very happy with it.

yeah, it would hurt to crash while wearing cargo shorts and sandals, but it would feel great if I didn't.

5. totally...
Definitely be careful...I've had a few friends injured on ATVs, I'd imagien two wheels are as bad or worse.

7. You look very happy! And I'm happy for you...BUT
don't you think it might be smart to wear a helmet? Even a light weight bike one? Maybe they aren't required where you live; still it could save your life...My friends call them "brain buckets."

:hi:

that is the next purchase. A decent helmet costs a couple hundred, well worth it. I am not know for my foresight.

13. Seems to me that your brain amounts to more than you think, LOL!
I'm glad to see that you agree with me! Here in CA, we have aggressive helmet laws, and they do save lives...

Good for you! We need all our intelligent Democrats, and that includes YOU!

Edited on Thu Jun-16-05 02:08 AM by Worst Username Ever
i had a couple guys yell at me today asking if it was a motorcycle or a moped, i laughed and said it was a moped and they started cracking up. i laugh pretty much nonstop when i am riding it. i love this thing. Also, a guy pulled up on a harley and asked if I would like to race. I politely declined.
