The original Bloomsday was June 16, 1904.

Now, go get drunk, eat immoral food, have some hot, crazy sex and finish it off with a footrace. You can also change the order of that list. Do it stream-of-consciousness if you can, but if you can't, no one will probably be too upset.

Damn, the first chapter may be the most beautiful writing in this history of English, bar none. Just read it aloud to you self, and savor the internal rhyme. My god, that man could write.

Anyone going to a Bloomsday reading today?

Has anyone done the Bloomwalk in Dublin? I didn't have time when I was there (but bought the map as a souvenir). I did stand atop the Martello Tower and lookout over the snotgreen sea. The scrotumtightening sea.
