1. Self's an American. Land of opportunists. Anything for money. And with a

populace that drools over every emotional piss fest over anything even semi-intelligent, they'll buy her book for weeks on end.

Movies about sweet emotional scenes during the first Great Depression, 'reality' shows showing how people on minimum wage cope (her's one: Take a rich bastard and make them live on minimum wage for a couple of months. The rich are the ones in power and they are so blinded by greed they are utterly out of touch with reality.)

2. To me it just proves that she has some loose

marbles up there. She should be embarrassed by what she did. I don't want an explanation from her. I also don't want her to get rich off of what she did. She should have to pay back every cent that went into locating her.

3. Unfuckingbelievable.

Some of us, you know, the talented, hardworking, non-municipal-resource-exploiting not assholes of the world would kill to be offered a book deal. Through which we could write fantastic stories of actual social importance which might, I don't know, NOT BE A GODDAMNED WASTE OF PAPER AND INK. I've actually been known to defend this woman or at least, to ask others to not villify her and then GET LIVES so they stop caring about her but A BOOK DEAL?! I don't know why I'm surprised, considering all the shit that gets put on our shelves these days--(American writers? Work harder!) but...ack! Are they literally giving the book contracts out to anyone now?! This is the saddest chapter yet.

4. Yeah, I just wish the profits from the book would have

to go to (1)paying back all that looked for her ass (2) some type of charity or mental health center (which I think she needs to check into AGAIN)
