1. Did you catch him on GMA this morning? |
|
He totally tried to weasel out of his videotape diagnosis of Ms. Schaivo. Even after being "grilled" by Chares Gibson, he tried to claim that all he was asking for was new testing to determine the severity of her brain damage. Denied that he ever said she "didn't look like a PVS to him", or whatever the exact quote was. Then he graciously acknowledged that the autopsy report put the whole thing to rest. :eyes:

4. I didn't catch him (good word!), but I read about his evasions. |
|
And when you go back and look at what he actually said, all you can say is, "What chutzpah!" (And I don't mean that in the kind sense!)

5. My husband saw him this morning on Today. |

He said Matt Lauer asked him about his diagnosis-via-videotape, and if he had changed his tune since the release of the autopsy results. Frist claimed he never made a diagnosis. Lauer quoted back what Frist had said at the time - that Mrs. Schiavo was responsive and not in a PVS - and asked point-blank, "Wouldn't you call that a diagnosis?" Frist responded that he did NOT do that, that he would NEVER do that, and that all he wanted was for it to go to the courts and have the courts decide (despite the fact that that had happened many times before Delay and Frist got their hot little hands on the case).
In other words, he lied.

3. Everyone in this administration thinks it's OK to lie about everything |

It's so disheartening. If they get caught, they lie. If they lie, they lie about lying. It's pathetic.
