He talks about how his music is violent because his life has been violent, but he does it in a way where he pretty much glorifies it. Compare Fiddy's music with that of Big L ("Street Struck" would be a good example). You'll notice a big difference.

I never said that. I do listen to some of it and I've been to a couple live shows. I don't respect that poser, nor will I turn a deaf ear to his offensive speech just because it's a rapper doing it.

There's also something to be said about his "street cred" when his CDs are at Target right next to Lindsay Lohan and Clay Aiken
