They say this is "news you're talkin' about": Pac-man turns 25.
http://www.kstp.com/article/stories/S8841.html?cat=1

And in his quarter-century, Pac Man has gone from a fairly simple, but devastatingly addictive, arcade game -- to a mind blowing, high tech, 3D version of his original self

Ooooooooooh! And the 3d tech version of himself is in clearance bins all across the country. :eyes:

He's starred in his own TV show. There was a breakfast cereal, a children's vitamin, macaroni and cheese, and Chef Boyardee with meatballs.

That is what we call "shameless marketing."

Billy Mitchell of is the reigning "king" of Pac Man -- he says he has mastered the game -- achieving a perfect score of 3,333,360.

"My ability as a player is unmatched by anyone else. I'm absolutely the best. It meant everything to be the best on Pac Man. It was the holy grail of video games, racing to see who would get the perfect Pac Man game," Mitchell said.

Okay, he's good at playing a video game. Is he single?

Twenty-five may be pretty old in "PAC" years -- but as long as there is one more quarter to spend, one more dot to chomp, the little yellow icon shows no signs of slowing down.

Tell that to Billy, who had the perfect score. Not possible for him.

Article has more, if you can gobble it...
