WASHINGTON -- A survey shows it's tough to look up to a movie star these days.

Nearly three-quarters of the people surveyed by The Associated Press and AOL said they think movie stars are bad role models for children. One moviegoer said stars "don't have the morals; they marry and divorce and sleep around a lot."

The survey also shows that nearly three-quarters of those surveyed would rather watch a movie at home than in a theater, which could explain why Hollywood's having such a lousy year.

Another factor could be that nearly half the respondents said they think movies are getting worse.
