Bradford, a gay porn star whose real name is Chad Slater, allegedly told French celebrity gossip magazine Actustar that he had an affair with Cruise during his marriage to Nicole Kidman. He has denied it every time he's been asked. He has denied it to friends, to spouses, to reporters, to tabloids, to gossip magazines, and in court documents. There has not been one shred of evidence or one half-way substantiated rumor yet even indicating he is gay. No one has come forward and proven he is gay. No one has come forward with even a strong argument that he is gay. The times when someone has claimed to have proof, they could not produce the proof when asked. Some of them even denied having ever said what they were reported to have said.

On the other side, he has been married twice to women, both of whom have said he is straight. He has dated several other women, who have all claimed he is straight. Not one, even in anger, has claimed he is not straight, or that he is even dysfunctional.

Tom Cruise wanted to be a priest when he was 14. He's always been a moral, almost prudish man on matters of sexuality. He has made several comments that he believes strongly in monogamy. The whole rumor that he is gay started only because he doesn't slam every young female actress onto the casting couch like other male celebrities, so dumb-ass male chauvanists decided that meant he's gay. Oh yeah, then there's the occasional "gaydar" argument, though there are just as many gaydar readings claiming he's not gay.

He's straight. Until someone proves otherwise, they're just making noise.
