The MN DUers declare that Chickenscratching does not exist

We had a wonderful gathering in honor of the visit of fudge stripe cookays--who is as delightful in person as on line, by the way--and for the third time this year, Chickenscratching declared that she was going to show up and then did not.

We therefore declare that we consider her non-existent until she actually shows up at a gathering or contacts someone to offer regrets beforehand.

Some shared curse, maybe. For the second time, work has screwed me out of a night of fun with DUers. Do we have any scheduling for the next meetup, so I can request off in time to have an iron-clad opening in my schedule?

A good friend of mine opened a dirty little jazz club literally three blocks from my apartment. Do I ever go? No. I sit on my ass. I've missed a whole bunch of those DU meetups that way.
