Boy finds stolen Rodin's statue

The thief could have hidden the statue in a bag, officials say

A famed bronze sculpture by Auguste Rodin stolen from a Chile museum has been found in a park, officials say.

The Torso of Adele statue, valued at some 400,000 euros (£268,000) was found in Santiago's park after it was stolen from the capital's Fine Arts museum.

"A boy found it... and notified authorities after watching the news," said Clara Budnik, head of the National Archive and Libraries Department.

The 20-kg (44 pound) statue was part of an exhibit in the Santiago museum.
