I planted some eggs today..... does anyone know

how long it will take them to come up? I love eggplant, can't wait.

1. I'm not an expert gardner or anything

but I think you need to plant the eggs in the fall (like tulips) - I could be wrong though. :shrug:

2. They should start sprouting in about a week, BUT! three days from now

you need to take the eggs out and suck out the insides and swish it around your mouth for a few minutes, then put the shell back in its nesting place (don't break it! Just poke a hole to suck the stuff out), and then spit the innards out on top of the shell. Otherwise, they will never grow properly, you'll get some kind of lesser, not so big, and not as tasty eggplant.
