Ever hear your alarm, turn it off, and forget to wake up??
I did that last week. I finally woke up 1/2 hour after my alarm was set, confused.

I must have been pooped.

1. My roommate turned my alarm off when I dormed at college.
I was late for many classes that semester.

5. I am a very sound sleeper, and I tend to do that a lot.
I just got one of those old-fashioned alarm clocks with the bell, and it's really hard to sleep through it.

8. I got a Baby Ben
I got it just because it's cute (I love things from the 50s), but now I'm actually using it.

7. It's always in the back of my mind
Esp because, over time, you can become used to your alarm clock and it doesn't wake you up anymore.

I have mine set to the radio. I turn it up REALLY LOUD before I go to sleep.

I have a couple of times, reset the clock after a power outage, and woken up later (but not too late!) because I set the clock for PM not AM. :dunce:

The pm for am thing! I must not have been paying attention when I set it.

11. Been there, done that
But, that's nowhere near as annoying (or embarassing) as jumping out of bed with a start at 11:40 pm, convinced it's time to wake up for school. I did that once in high school when my usual wake-up time was closer to 7 in the morning. Got dressed and was gathering up my stuff before I realized it wasn't even midnight yet. :)

12. That has happened to me, too!
Usually if I was dead tired and went to sleep early, my system gets thrown off!
