... actually those made me really sad.
I like him from his role in teh Blues Brothers, he was very cool.

Of course a whole new generation learned of him as the old guy shilling powerball tickets - how sad :cry:

2. That's a hard decision.
I like just about anything he ever did, but I think my favorites would probably be Georgia and America the Beautiful.

those are my favorites of all his recordings---some of the best Soul music ever recorded

He had lots of great ones over the years, but "What'd I Say" is the best.

17. The Austin City Limits version of " Hit the Road Jack "
He seemed to be wingin it after the first few minutes and he must have kept it up for at least 6 or 7 minutes. It was by far and away pure genius, he just kept adding different lines to the song. Hoped they would replay his performance on there sometime but haven't seen it again yet.

Here's to Ray, you'll always be the MAN!!!!
