I think I may have just cursed someone's nuptials |
|
Took Gomez out for a walk, and right around the corner, right in front of the huge Catholic church where a very posh wedding was taking place...right in front of the entire wedding party...he stops and takes a giant steaming crap. x(
Anyone know if that's a bad omen? :evilfrown:

1. Just FYI: Gomez is the dog, not dolo's pet name for me. |
|
I just want to make that clear.

according to www.dreamloverinc.com:
"Dreams which include excretory functions usually represent cleansing and emotional release. Look at all of the details of the dream in order to obtain meaning. Ask yourself which emotions you may be releasing: anxiety, anger, mockery, annoyance, etc. Some very old folklore interpretations suggest that dreaming of feces is a good omen which suggests a financial gain."
So if you carry that logic into what happened today, maybe Gomez just had a few mixed pretenses about the wedding so by defecating, he could have been just releasing those feelings and by doing that is coming to terms with acceptance?
ok, it's a bit of a stretch :silly: ...but, still, definitely a good omen.

I feel better about the whole ordeal now. It probably wouldn't have been so bad had they not merely seconds earlier been pointing and ooohing and ahhing over what a cute doggie he is. :D

19. I have heard from Jewish friends that it's because the bird could have |
|
pooped anywhere, and from above, there's a lot more chance it would hit a house, a car, the road, etc... rather than your shoulder or head. The bird picked YOU! and that's what makes it lucky.
they told me it's a jewish superstition. ? who knows.

24. Only if you didn't have your little plastic bag handy. |
|
If you cleaned it up, it is a good omen. A metaphor that says, "Shit happens. When it does, no matter what the circumstances, take care of it right away. Be considerate of others, and have a good sense of humor about the whole thing."
And if you didn't have your bag handy, well, that's another matter, and one which will require quiet reflection on your part. Followed by the gathering of plastic bags for your future adventures with Gomez.
