...and, after giving the stories 5 stars, refreshed the pages to find that the ratings had dropped.

Freepers are, right now as you read this, rating the DSM stories down.

That's right, dirty little rodents with body odor and bad breath are sitting in front of their computers, surrounded by garbage and porn, voting to make the story go away so that your sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, boyfriends and girlfriends, husbands and wives, can die in Bush's illegal war.

4. Note that I associated neither porn nor garbage with freepers...

...but rather with their inclination to live in their own squalor. I could have said "surrounded by garbage and porn and empty beer cans," but that wouldn't have meant only freepers drink beer.

I'm trying to paint a picture here, people! Work with me! A picture of freepers in rooms as dark as the discarded remnants of their cold-as-gunmetal souls, surrounded by the evidence of their most recent solitary gratifications, leering in the light of the monitor as they rate down stories that show Bush lied us into Iraq.
