1. just finished playing!

for the day. I took my mandolin to a jam and played lots of traditional, early swing and jazz pieces. Some of them are still floating around in my head now.

Music-ed out for now. But glad you asked.

Anyway its still in my mind. I am so much the learner, The others are kind to let me do leads when the time comes. I would encourage anyone to just start it up and bust out.

6. I just play guitar and piano

and hack at a viola, but was daunted by the alto clef.

Last time I held a mandolin, I think I was 7, but I remember joy at the tone and feel of it, and spent some time trying to pick out elementary tunes.

That's good enough for me. Mando is pretty challenging. If you can avoid it, do so by all means. All the same it is a pure joy. I have moments.
