a person who is trying to sell their story for a million dollars.

How about if you sell this TV show - "Next American Grunt"
These people compete to see who is the best at pushing a broom, or putting a nut on a bolt, or running a drill press.
And the winner gets a minimum wage job with no benefits.

Or how about if a bunch of retail managers and office managers and restaurant managers (or better yet CEOs) are followed around with cameras and each week one of them is voted ON to a deserted island. Hey, the tribe has spoken.

Then "find Jebus" and go on the road denouncing abortion as eeeeevil and fight to have it outlawed. The reich wingers and fundies will regale you as a hero, you can write a book about your horror story and make millions.
