Recast the Star Wars movies with Bush Regime and even democrats!!
Imagine we're remaking Star Wars but the people hired to play the roles will be current politicos we have in DC and even govenors. Who do you pick for what role?

Example:

John Conyers as Obi-Wan Kenobi: Hell even listening to Conyers with his investigation he still has that wise-sage characteristics of Obi-wan

Joe Lieberman as Jar-Jar Binks: This is a good one because both are very well meaning but irritating as hell. And remember it was Jar-Jar Binks that nominated Palpatine as Supreme Chancellor over the senate in Attack of the Clones.

Dick Cheney as Darth Sidious - need I say more?

What picks do you have

1. Lieberman as Jar-Jar is a good analogy.
However I think he is more closely aligned with the Trade Federation. Joementum has been a tool of Darth Sidious all along.

2. I thought Frist as Jar Jar
He's certainly a clown...

Tom DeLay as Darth Maul

James Dobson as Palpatine?

Conyers could be the older Obi-Wan from the good Star Wars movies...

Anakin has Bush-like qualities - shallow, spoiled, bad temper, too much power at his fingertips.

Who would be Yoda?

6. Actually, I was picturing him cut in two pieces....
and falling, falling, falling....call it wishful thinking! But I agree, Darth Maul alive would be way too cool for Rick "poodoo" Santorum.
:hi:
