How about a Wine, Beer and Liquor Group on DU? |
|
I think it would be great for those DUers with knowledge of wine, beer and liquor to share their experiences and perhaps their favorite buys????
I know that I have typically found great (inexpensive) wines through word of mouth and the same goes for booze too... I am still upset that I can't get Leyden's Gin here in PA.... and I am lobbying the liquor store to get it...

2. You liquor - you broughtuor! |

BWUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Truthfully, though, I think it's a great idea.
Though we might want to have them in their own groups. I could see the topic of "wine" taking over all other discussions, just in sheer numbers. Maybe not, but that's what I would predict.

Believe it or not, one of the best wines I ever had is made in Pennsylvania. Have you ever been to Windgate Winery in Smicksburg? They make a rose' called "Eye of the Shadow" (there's a picture of a groundhog on the bottle!) that is out of this world!
