Anyone remember when Fox and Friends had a puppet? |
|
I'm stretching into the chasm of my memory at this point but I distinctly remember when Fox and Friends started on Fox stations before their was a Fox News Channel. I remember that Steve Doocy guy being on it and I remember he and the other 2 people on the show (I don't know if it was the same people) were forced to interact with a puppet. You could just see on their faces the indignity of it all just killed them.

they tried all kinds of lame stuff on that morning show.
Tom Bergeron never seems to get out of phony mode. He and the puppet were equally unreal.
edit: the puppet was Al Rosenberg, a former Howard Stern guy. When Bergeron left they gave the show to Vicki Lawrence.
The way the Australian guys at Fox would say the name of the show it sounded like an indian-name: "F_x after breakfast"
