Saw "Batman Begins" at the IMAX yesterday.
It was one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. And viewing it on the huge screen made it even better.

1. I agree with Roger Ebert..
..who said it's the "Batman" movie he's waiting to see. Smart, dark, without all the over-the-top tripe the Burton movies had. I cannot wait for the next installments, although Nolan has not officially committed to any sequels.

2. I saw it last night in a regular theater
I sat in the front row, and some of those fight scenes had me seriously confused as to what was going on. I think it'll be easier to watch when it's on a TV.

Still, though, it was a great movie otherwise.

4. Yeah,
I noticed that. My guess is that the director's gone for close-up shots in the fight scenes to differentiate from all the medium shot kung-fu type scenes that most action movies have nowadays.

3. Yeah
I saw it yesterday too. I was plesantly surprised, as I was fully expecting it to suck.

5. By the way,
Why does the idea of Liam Neeson rescuing someone from a prison camp sound familiar to me?

6. I Also Thought That It Was Very Well Done
Probably captured the Batman story better than any other TV/Movie attempt so far.
