7. Chinese babies are certainly chubbier than American ones...

When we went to China last year, my in-laws and their neighbors all thought our then 18 month old daughter was too thin, even though she was in the 50-75 percentile for weight at her age at the time - the problem was that she was in the 75-90 percentile range for height, so she looks thinner than she really is.

All of the babies we saw there in her age range were chubby... not some - all.
