I feel an overwhelming sense of foreboding
Lots going on in my life, and I thought I was feeling up to all the upcoming changes, but just now I got a sense of foreboding.

My office is being moved on Monday.

I'm moving to a new apartment on Saturday.

My boss is due back from Italy tomorrow.

My car needs a windshield and a muffler.

There's just so much going on. I'm trying to keep my head about me, and so far, I'm doing it, but something doesn't feel just right.

Any way you folks know to get through all this?

2. A nice bubble bath and a glass of wine
Seriously; take a break (even for an hour) and do something to relax. I understand how you're feeling and how easy it is to get overwhelmed. You'll get through it! :hi:

3. Yep
Do it.

One thing at a time, check stuff off a list, and quit worrying.

Just get it done, and get out of your own head while you're doing it.

Actually, there's not a whole lot of stuff there. You've got a pretty simple list.

5. deep breaths
and take some time to be quiet- multi tasking, major changes = stress. Recognizing that you are stressed and telling yourself it is OK to not have a handle on absolutely everything helps. Ask for help from the people who care about you, tell someone that can help you, "I'm overwhelmed". Help comes from unexpected sources (Wow, I could write for a fortune cookie company!), but you do have to ask. And last but not least, have a really good laugh every day- find something to laugh about- I swear it is the key to survival!

7. Well, not the same events, but...
* despite walking and exercising more and adjusting my diet for my pre-diabetic level, I'm still feeling more and more fatigued and sweaty.

* more premonitions regarding my personal future...

* a new type of fear over what's to happen in this country

* might be moving in September (will be unless I get a job!)

* I keep reminding myself the fragility of my situations...

All in all? I just smile and make bad jokes. Things will work out.
