"The Scholar" on ABC reveals sad state of our nation

They are making some very smart kids compete against each other just to get a scholarship into school. All of the students have a 4.0 or higher GPA; and I think all of them scored at least a 1400 on the SAT. What has our nation become when kids this bright are not guaranteed money for college?

Those kids should all get free rides to college. That's how it should be! If you're smart, if you've done the work, you should be able to go to college!

People have souls too. corporate america sees us all as expendable machines.

Plus, I'm fed up with the filth that poses as entertainment these days. I didn't know such a show existed but I'm sure many will give me the jabbaent lecture of how important it is for these kids to fight each other like starving pit bulls to get that luscious prime scholarship... That shit also reinforces the dog-eat-dog unevolved animal mentality.
