Ever heard of Harville Hendrix?
The therapist gave us his book to try to help with marital problems. I read it cover to cover in two days, but skimmed over the part where he went all Bible-thumping.

Anybody know anything about this guy?

1. Ack! He's a "pastoral counselor"
http://www.annonline.com/interviews/971031/biography.html

Harville Hendrix, Ph.D., is a pastoral counselor whose specialty is marriage and other intimate relationships. He has spent more than 35 years as a therapist, educator, workshop leader and public lecturer. For the past 15 years, he has specialized in studying intimate partnerships and couples therapy.

He is co-founder with his wife, Helen Hunt, of the Institute for Imago Relationship Therapy in Orlando, Florida, and serves as its President. He and his wife are also collaborators in the creation of Imago Relationship Therapy and the concepts of "conscious marriage" and "conscious parenting."

My therapist is a dem, and she knows where we stand on religion. There were several religious references in the book, and one section that was really loaded, but most of it was not obviously skewed in that direction.

3. I was hoping you were going to say he is Jimi Hendrix's son . . .
. . . and that he really plays a mean guitar.

I guess now I will just have to assume that he is a gay Scientologist, since if he acted and made movies, it would suck.
