1. Booze, man
Knock off a couple of cold ones before bed. Or Nyquil.

3. I actually slept last night too .
Edited on Tue Jun-21-05 04:22 AM by CarolinaPeridot
And tonight I can't sleep at all . I feel like ripping my heart out ( relationship issues ) . Sometimes I wonder if I stopped caring , would things be better for me ? No , it would make me a very cold person . How can I deal with someone going through PTSD and its all Bush's fault ? I can't sleep , I can't eat , I don't want to work , all I do is lay in my bed and worry about the person who I care about the most and watch them push everybody away - damn you Bush , damn you for making soldiers go through hell and having them come home changed forever ... Ahhh this is awful . I just need to vent - my hands are shaking .

7. And I don't know how to help him .
All I know how to do is hug him and cry . I am so worried about the rest of his life . I love him so much and I don't want him to be affected by this but if he is like this now , I can only imagine how he will be when his deployment is over . If he pushes me away , I won't go no matter how hard it gets . I just blame it on Bush . Sigh .

10. I don't know about the military's counseling at all, but the VA...
is well versed on PTSD. Try to get him to acknowledge he needs help.

9. Calm down, my dear. We all have to deal with evil that is Bush*.
But you must look after yourself, and those that you love. I totally sympathize with you, and feel the same way, but look at my previous suggestions. You don't need to go through this, I promise.

BTW, I am also anexoric, and tend to shake, because I tend to drink and smoke too much. I know what I have to do, and so do you.

5. Are you outside during the day?
I find that if I get loads of fresh air, and even more so am physically tired - then whatever else I'm out like a light.

8. Forget the booze. That's what prevents sleep. I've been there.
Try nux vomica, a homeopathic remedy, or talk to your doctor. I have a friend who swears by Ambien. Just, please, take care of this. You can survive longer without food, than without sleep. And I'm a fellow insomniac. Just look at the time.:pals:
