Pierogi appreciation thread.

Man...day two of the South Beach Diet and already I miss carbs.
How do you like your pierogies? I like mine fried until they are somewhat crispy, with sauteed onions and sour cream. Oh- cheese and potato filling, of course. :9

11. Same way as you like them my man...except
I like sauerkraut. I was surprised to hear a lot of the country don't know about these things.
When Clinton came here on his first run he stopped at Parma pirogies. That's where I saw him speak.

31. There's this place in Lorain called Scorcher's
They have these things called Warsaw Wings- deep fried pierogies covered in buffalo wing sauce. They're delicious, but just wrong on so many levels.

32. Oh man
I have heard of Scorcher's. That sounds so good, but yet a one way ticket to a quick death.
The Parma one isn't around anymore. The woman had that place for years and then Clinton went there. It wasn't long after that that she got in a bunch of legal troubles and shit and had to close down.

35. Homemade sauerkraut and corned beef pierogis
fried in real butter with onions and gobs of sour cream at Fosters' Tavern in Hinckley, Ohio. Absolutely the best I ever had, and I've eaten plenty of pierogi. Also, they have just about any beer made anywhere. Great place.
