I have "The Dana Owens Album" and "Van Lear Rose" on my desk. A co-worker saw them and laughed -- said "that's, uh, that's two quite different types of music you've got there."

It's not. If Billy Strayhorn hated what Sarah Vaughan did to "Lush Life," he has to be whirring around in his grave at the way it sounds on Dana Owens. Oy!
