2. i guess i am getting at something else |
|
like when a repub tries to hide themselves, they usually say, "i'm a registered independent, but in 1993 paul wellstone really had good things to say about ronald reagan."
or something like that.
it just galls me when i encounter "types" in gd who just let slither certain things that sound a lot like apologetics for w.

You better not tell them in GD about that about Wellstone, they'll crucify him, GD can be so cannibalistic.

you've got to be kidding me with that shit. I'm an Indy, and I'm the furthest fucking thing from a Repub.
on edit: I've voted a straight Dem ticket the last two elections, and what has that gotten me? The Bankruptcy Bill, IWR, US PATRIOT, etc.

6. Read the post again that's not what it said. |
|
The post was about what republicans say when they're trolling trying to pretend they aren't republicans.

16. well, my apologies if i misconstrued your post and the intentions.. |
|
of the OP. Perhaps I'm a little oversensitive because of the perceived animosity that is directed to the progressives on the board who don't agree 110% with what the Dems do.
I am an Independent because I am completely dissatisfied with both parties and have been procrastinating in registering as a Green.

11. I'm A Registered Independent, But Are You Some Kind of Commie LIEberal? |
|
Edited on Wed Jun-22-05 10:07 AM by GiovanniC
I'm a registered Independent but I know that God wouldn't have let them pilot the planes into those buildings on 9/11 if we had just made elementary school children pray to Him in the mornings before class.

maybe we just didn't pray hard enough as a nation...
However, its my in-laws really are registered members of the Communist Party, not me.

but I think that the way to avoid future attacks is to round up all the LIEberals and DUmmies into camps. Speaking as a registered independent.

14. I am "unenrolled" and I use my vote strategically |
|
When Tsongas ran in '92, I knew he'd take his home state--my home state. So I walked into the polls on primary day and declared myself to be a republican, so that I could vote in the republican primary and vote against GHW Bush. When I walked out of the both, I re-declared my unenrolled status.
