My office is even cold too. When I go home I don't turn on the AC in the car just so I can thaw out!!

And hre and southern Alberta were just in a state of emergency the past 2 days because of major rivers cresting. We got lucky, but a few of my favorite towns east of Calgary got it bad..

That's bad; I spent most of the 90's in the southwest and never got used to nightime temps in the summer not dropping below 85..

|
Edited on Wed Jun-22-05 12:38 AM by LastKnight
that is if i cant have ideal temp, that is... if it has to be uncomfortable id rather have cold, you can always put more clothes on to warm up, in heat, sometimes you run out of clothes you can discard and youre still plenty hot... and if i were to remove more... it may get the attention of the police lol.

did you see those twits in the dingy who needed to be rescued by emergency crews, and when interviewed, one of the offenders said: "ah, it's no big deal". :wtf: We had a bit of excitement here today - I'm by the Stadium: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x3493735

26. CFRN was the only news crew on site |
|
I went down and had a brief look at it. It was on the CFRN news at 11:30 tonight, very briefly.
It was very, very surreal to watch. They've finally cleaned it up - 5 hours later.
A few weekends ago, I watched a carjacking on my street.
I'm moving out on Sunday to the south burbs, but I'll miss this area. Never a dull moment here!

When I do my show I have a clear view of the tavern across the street and every Sunday night there's a brawl of some sort by 2am; this last Sunday the paddy wagons and EMT's were there cleaning up the mess. I keep expecting A-Channel, Global, or CFRN to show up but it hasn't happened yet..

...which I'm thankful for. Just a week ago, it was sweltering and humid. I swear that spring passes us over, here in western New York.
