2. I think they do it to calm down the callers :) |
|
it has a calming influence so we don't jump through the phone and throttle them for making us wait so damn long :)

Stay calm, no matter how infuriating. Just stay calm and reasonable.
Cry if you must.
It worked for me. I got a full refund on one of their crappy computers, and then had one custom-built with the $$$. Smartest move I ever made.
Good luck, though.

I asked "Mike" how the weather was and he was stumped. He claimed that he was out east and I asked him east of what state. The phone went dead silent

to rent a car in August. I asked the Rep who answered the phone if there was a senior discount as I'm travelling with my mom and she would qualify. OUT OF THE BLUE the guy says, "How old is she? My grandmother is 102" I thought he was questioning whether my mom had her faculties and was able to drive. So......he then tells me if people keep living longer there will be no social security.....AND if people didn't have abortions there would be no problem with social security when people his age retire.!
WTF? I told him I'm calling from Canada using their 1-800 number. I ask him where he is, he tells me Utah.
I said if his president keeps killing off young people to fight his illegal war there won't be a need for social security anyway. Not a good comeback but holy crap I was in shock! This came out of no where!!
