At the top of my list are the stupid asshats who get off escalators and STOP. Like they don't know there are more people behind them who have to get off the damn thing or have their feet eaten by the escalator?
And right behind them are the morans who try to rush in to crowded elevators before the occupants get out?
Encountered both while getting lunch. What's with these idiots? :banghead:

that of people just fucking STOPPING in lanes of traffic: top of an escalator, just beyond the threshold of a door in a public place, in a supermarket aisle, etc.

Aisle is 5 feet wide and these folks HAVE to walk across instead of single file.
Happens at the airports a lot too. Yeah, the aisles are much wider, but there's a zillion people trying to get by as well.
These people seem oblivious to the fact that they aren't the only ones there. The Professor

When people say "literally" when they really mean "metaphorically".
The use of the word "orientated". Okay, it's a word but it's rarely useful. The word they're looking for is "oriented". A very minor peeve perhaps but in my line of work (Software Engineer) having to hear "Object Orientated Language" day in, day out becomes very trying.

How do they know that the ambulance or firetruck that is tearing down the road isn't for their house or the police car isn't on it's way to stopping a crime that is happening to their relative? I simply hate people who think they're more important than any emergency vehicle.
