and I just learned that Elaine May directed "Ishtar." Which, according to my dad who spent 12 years in Abu Dhabi, was HILARIOUS. I guess you had to know the culture to find it funny. :shrug:

| 18. yeah, there was a movie several years ago with Walter Matthau |

and May, for example (don't remember the title) and it had a few funny moments as a comedy but basically it stalled. He's a rich guy who lost his fortune and marries her as she is very rich. SHe walked around with lipstick on her teeth and things like that. Also, Ishtar was a little on the unwatchable side IMO
