For well over 10 months, my grocer undercharged the price of ground turkey

I started shopping there 10 months ago.

$1.87 per pound. Two 40oz trays. They charged $7.48.

I went there today. They increased the price to $9.35.

Who narked? :spray: 2x40 = 80oz. 80 oz / 16 = 5lb. :dunce:

I wonder who got fired for the whoopsie...

edit: Spelling :dunce:

There was only four pounds of turkey. You don't want to know what the other pound was.

5. What if I told you it was Sam's Club?

O8)

Of course, I didn't really notice until AFTER they altered the price; I thought they were trying to screw the customers. (which is odd, I usually tally up those things...)

10. My reaction too...
But as I would never have been shopping at Sams Club, this would be a moot question.

I am a CostCo member!

They cut that stuff with cardboard and sawdust.

6. No, that's the plastic-rolled 89 cent stuff with beaks and claws.
This same stuff (packaging, tray style, et al) costs considerably more everywhere else.
