wonder what it is like to have a major tv role... and years later only get guest bit parts on other series...

2. means either
that the status of only doing "guest roles" goes back ten years...

or that he was so good ten years ago that the role was reprised, and aging in tvland s*cks - as even though one can create such a role, the talent isn't oft tapped into.

about two or three seasons ago on one episode.
