I just got a message from the mods that my sig line, which I've had for over a year, is sexist and bigoted. I refused to change it.

What do you think?

I'd suggest that you argue a case for "promotion of trans gender lifestyles" and lean on the "multi-cultural" approach. You don't criticize either of them, you merely refer to the impact of interchangeable equipment. After all, it could be a voluntary transformation...they could have elective surgery, very Republican.

Seems very sexist to me, as though one gender has to be a certain way, and should be insulted to be the other. I think Ann Coulter is enough of an insult without having to go any further.

Having said that, there's no rule on DU that all sig lines have to make Jobycom happy. I've seen worse around here, so I don't see the big deal. I can understand why you're frustrated, and thinking of making a stand, and wouldn't blame you for doing it.

But you shouldn't. You'd deprive us of your wit and insight, and that would be sad.
