So I'm going to get all of my hair chopped off today...

It's about shoulder length, and I'm going uber-short, just shy of shaved. My hair's damaged and yucky, and I want to give it a chance to grow back healthy. I'm scared about the results, but I have to do it! My family's been rather unsupportive of this change, but I say 'fuck 'em' essentially. Think good thoughts for me!

I used to have a shaved head, so I'm not scard about the shortness aspect,it's more that every hairdresser I've been to has made me look like a poodle. It's been a long time though, so I'm gonna remain optimistic.

I lost a lot of hair last year (for medical reasons) and ended up having to cut mine because it just looked straggly.

Now I love my short hair. I don't know why I didn't wear it this short sooner.

about a foot and 1/2 of hair off. It was halfway down my butt.

Now I have it a little past my shoulders. Short enough for me and I am loving it.

Fuckity fuck fuck...This woman just wouldn't or couldn't do what I wanted, and now I look fucking retarded...I've made an appointment this afternoon at a better place, and hopefully they can fix it...:cry: :cry:

11. one hairdresser refused to cut my hair as short as i wanted.

she said i wouldn't like it. i wanted a pixie and she left it way too long for that. i went to another salon and got the cut i wanted and loved it. i couldn't believe that someone i was paying would argue with me about how i wanted my hair. i told her i had it short before and like it. i was pissed.

she was like "no, you don't want that". I told her that I've had my head shaved before, so shortness was a-ok, and what I wanted. It's way too long on top and in the front, and the back looks weird.

wouldn't pay for the cut. she was the owner and sole stylist of the salon i was in so there was no one to complain to.

when it was cut currectly i received more compliments than i ever had. i had women coming up to me asking where i had it done. so there mean no hair cutting woman

13. I've beem wearing my hair short

for several years and I love it. I get the back and sides shaved with a #5 setting. I leave the bangs and top a little long so I can comb it different ways for a change in the look of it. :hi:

My hair was to the middle of my back, but the last several years of coloring and processing just really screwed it up. I cut it to almost below shoulder length. It is an adjustment, but it is hot outside and it feels good not to have that extra weight. It will always grow back!:hi:

18. Ok, after take 2, I am psyched!!!

Alright, I went to a better place about 20 minutes away, and had an awesome guy re-cut it the way I wanted! It's maybe an inch long in the front and on the top, super short in the back and sides. It's kinda like a spiky pixie cut! He totally understood my hair and did a kick-ass job! I've now had my first good haircut ever, after 28 years of life. I got a compliment from the girl at my regular gas station on the way home, so it's all good. My mom even liked it, which is shocking. :P
