Help! I have a gift card to iTunes and don't know what else to download. |
|
My husband wants me to make a contemporary mix for our anniversary road trip this weekend and I'm at a loss. Damn radio stations don't give artist and title information anymore.
Here are some tunes I've already downloaded.
Creed "One Last Breath" Matchbox 20 "3AM" and "Unwell" 3 Doors Down "When I'm Gone" and "Kryptonite" Nickelback "Someday"
if that gives you an idea of the kind of mood I'm in.
Any ideas?????

Try Clutch's "Blast Tyrant". If you're looking for specific song from it, try "Regulator", "Ghost", "Subtle Hustle", "Mob Goes Wild".
On edit: of course, you can try before you buy on iTunes, so see if you like it first.

3. Here's a few good songs |
|
East Lawn - New Constitution Benediction - The Weakerthans To Wild Homes - New Pornographers Shadow Land - Youth Group No Culture Icons - The Thermals Slipping Through The Sensors - Fruit Bats There's This Girl - Sweet Baby Throwaway Style - Exploding Hearts Pump It Up - Elvis Costello
Now there is some good music, entirely appropriate for a road trip. I don't use iTunes so I have no idea how many of those you can get.

5. First of all, it's kind of in poor taste to slag someone's music tastes |
|
in a thread where they are just looking for suggestions.
And by the way, It's Neko Case.

12. You're right, but I'll second the Drive By Truckers rec |
|
"Hell No I Ain't Happy" would be perfect for the kind of mood music you're looking for.

try these:
Game of Love (santana feat. Michelle Branch) Comedown (Bush) dont worry, its gavin rossdale... not george w. Good Riddance {aka time of your life} (Green Day) Delicate (damien Rice) Southern Girl (incubus)
and a must have for any mix youll be listening to with any SO...
Love Song (311)
its kinda cheesy, but if you get anything from what ive listed, get that one.
i tried to aim along the same lines as the ones youve posted.
