UPS just delivered my package. Mementos from Ma's house cleaning.
In it were newspapers, Boston Globe, Washington Post, New York Times & Lawrence Eagle Tribune From November 22, 23 & 24 1963. All about the JFK assasination and Oswald's hit. All in good condidtion too.

Also were the immigration entry cards from my great grandparents entry to the US, from Sicily, in 1907.

Included was a 14 x 20 picture of my grandparents wedding shot. It was a B&W that was painted over for the color effect. From 1930.

Way cool stuff!

10. Many pics of my parents, GP's and GGP's.
As well as pics of my brothers and me as kids.
And a REAL Boston Bean Pot that was my great, great grandmothers on Dad's side of the family. Its about 140 years old and came over from Ireland during the potato famine. My Dad would cook great beans in it all the time.

11. wow, that's awesome.
just the pics alone is a coup, but the bean pot would make me estatic. I love stuff like that. I'd love to see something made today make it that long...
