What should I expect? Should I take the conservative dad to see it downstairs with us too, or should I let him sit it out? I've got many questions but I can't think of any others.

What should I expect out of Outfoxed?

1. Definitely MAKE your conservative dad view it
Republican colleagues viewed it and it changed their lives.

2. Expect to get angry and maybe depressed.
Everyone I've talked to who has seen it said it made them feel both these things.

By all means, show it to Dad. Don't expect him to feel the same as you though. He may just blame the movie producers for showing only negative things to make a point - thereby missing the point. Or he may surprise you and get it completely. Whatever - at least he'll have seen it.

3. I think your dad should watch it;
it doesn't blame the viewers, it focuses on the consumer fraud Faux commits when touting it's "fair and balanced" BS.

Plus, they back up their statements well with actual video and corroboration with former Faux employees.

It's a great documentary. Disturbing, but very effective.

4. Yeah. He's usually pretty open-minded but my only worry...
is how's he viewed our documentaries. Though he doesn't own a gun, he walked upstairs during our viewing of Bowling for Columbine. He refused to see Fahrenheit 9/11 due to some Salon's reporter's story on its "many lies".

6. If was difficult enough watching that before the election
I'd need a good stiff drink in order to watch it now.

7. Expect to get seriously pissed off!
I had to "pause" several times because it was making me so mad. Large quantities of alcoholic beverages on hand wouldn't hurt!
