3. Male hormone replacement.
34 year old couch potato goes to a shady "alternative" doctor to get testosterone and human growth hormone, in an attempt to get back his physique. He loses a lot of weight and looks a lot better, but he has marital problems, experiences "roid rage", has serious liver malfunction, and becomes completely sterile.

It was pretty good, although not nearly as political as last weeks episode on poverty, or next week where an islamophobic American Christian spends 30 days as a muslim.

4. I thought it was pretty good.
Sadly, it's probably just that easy to get growth hormone. I wouldn't take that shit unless I absolutely had to.

5. I found it painful
evenmore so than Morgan and his GF living on Minimum Wage.

It seemed like the wife didn't really agree to it in the first place, before they even started.

I didn't finish watching it, that's how bad it made me wince.

6. I was amazed it went on as long as it did.
It was weird that he'd keep going when his liver panel was fucked up, but when he was shooting blanks everything went to red alert mode. Sterility won't kill you or put you on the transplant waiting list, a f'd up liver can. (Maybe I was just sensitive to that because my mother and aunt have hepatitis C so I spend a lot of time worrying about my family's own endangered livers.) Personally, I would have walked at the "please make a deposit, this might make you sterile" but maybe that's just me.

The Tijuana pharmacy part was pretty surprising to me. I wish they'd got that stuff analyzed, I was wondering if it was real or counterfeit. It seems to me a pharmacy unscrupulous enough to stell steroids over the counter could just as easily be selling fake steroids- what are people going to do, report it?
